Rakuen

Rakuen:A white creature above circular stone paving
A white creature above circular stone paving1 / 10

A hospitalized boy travels with his mother into a storybook world and discovers the troubles of his hospital neighbors. Conversations, exploration and puzzles, rather than combat, lead him through their experiences.

What makes it fun

  1. Get to know patients across both worlds

People you meet in the hospital appear as different beings in the storybook world. Talking to them in both places gradually reveals what lies behind their troubles.

  2. Trace the past through notes and objects

Letters, diary entries, and objects in the hospital and mansion offer fragments of the patients’ pasts. Piecing them together lets you work out details the records leave unsaid.

  3. Find a way through environmental puzzles

Puzzles involve moving or switching objects in a room, and one uses light to represent the seasons. Information found while exploring helps you work out the solutions.
