Cassette Beasts

Cassette Beasts:Beasts facing off on a path through grass
Beasts facing off on a path through grass1 / 8

Record monsters on cassette tapes and transform into them to fight. Fusing with a companion creates a new form.

What makes it fun

  1. Read the type reactions

Type reactions can inflict a status effect, but an attack can also give the enemy a protective wall. Choosing a move means thinking about the reaction it will trigger.

  2. Build a counter with stickers

Stickers let you swap moves and passive effects. You can rebuild a setup after a loss, even looking for a way to reflect an opponent's attack.

  3. Fusion changes form and moves

Fusing with a companion blends your beasts' appearances and gives the fused form access to both sets of stickers. The combination changes how it looks and what it can do in battle.
