Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles:A battle with dice lined up below
A battle with dice lined up below1 / 7

Build a dice pool, reshape its faces and plan for unfavorable rolls.

What makes it fun

  1. Make a bad roll work

An unfavorable face can be aimed at an enemy, changed, or rerolled. The interesting choice comes after it lands: how can you turn it into something useful?

  2. Risk Corruption for an ability

You can let Corruption build to make an ability available, or use Purification to stay safe. How much danger you accept changes the moves you have next.

  3. Build the faces you want

You can alter die faces and add rerolls to your setup. Do you improve your odds of getting the effect you want, or give yourself a way out of a bad roll?

A typical run

Purification heals you and harms enemies; Corruption does the reverse. Corruption can unlock abilities, but too much is dangerous.
