Frequently asked questions

Do “fold” and “folding” mean the same thing?

Yes. This guide and BlackPoker use “Fold.”

What does the “3” in “3-bet” count?

It counts the levels of betting. Preflop, the BB is the first bet, the first raise is the second bet, and a raise over that is the third bet—the 3-bet. It does not mean raising to three times the amount.
